Caring for your Hand Dyed Yarn – Washing Instructions

Due to differences in water softness and products used although the skeins have been rinsed after dyeing there may be a small amount of dye run when washed, it is advised to wash separately. All items should be handwashed with care in cool water using a delicate/wool friendly product, do not soak, do not wring out, dry flat away from direct sunlight.

Whilst every effort is made to show a true representation of the yarn’s colours please be aware that colours may vary between monitors/screens.

All yarn is dyed in a smoke free environment and although I have a cat she is kept away from the yarn!

As yarns are hand dyed there may be variations between skeins and it is suggested to alternate skeins in larger projects.

Yarn must be wound into balls/cakes before it can be used, this can be done using a ball winder or by hand, please contact me if you are unsure.

Dyed to Order

Dyed to Order yarn will be shipped within 4 weeks, often sooner, if there are any unexpected delays I will be in contact.

All orders are shipped via Royal Mail within the UK. I aim to post orders with 3 business days for in stock yarn, but as I am a one-woman show occasionally there may be unexpected delays, in this case I will contact you to update you on the status of your order and I appreciate your understanding. Custom and dyed to order yarn currently has ypto a 4 week turnaround and you will receive an email once your order has been posted, any in stock items will be held back and sent together with your custom/dyed to order yarn. If you require your in stock yarn to be posted sooner please place a separate order.

Royal Mail First Class Signed For (upto 1kg, approximately upto 8 skeins) £4.35

Royal Mail First Class Signed For (1-2kg approximately 9 to 16 skeins) £6.07

I am happy to ship internationally, but orders cannot be placed through my website currently. For orders outside of the UK please contact me via email on hello@evizendesign.co.uk for a shipping quote, postage is approximately £10-20 but will vary by country, and you are responsible for all local taxes and charges.

If you are unhappy with you order you may return all, or part of it, within 14 days of delivery if the product is in new, unused condition. After 14 days your order is no longer eligible for return.

Dyed to order and custom dyed yarn is not eligible for return, please be aware of this prior to purchasing. If you are not satisfied with your custom or dyed to order puchase please get in contact by emailing hello@evizendesign.co.uk to discuss this.

Sale items also cannot be returned, please be aware of this prior to purchasing.

Gift cards cannot be returned. Items purcahsed with a gift card can be returned within 14 days for shop credit if in new, unused condition.

Please contact Evizen Design before returning any items by emailing hello@evizendesign.co.uk and a return address will be provided.

Evizen Design reccommends you get proof of postage for the return and if possible a tracking number. If you are sending an item valued over £20 you should consider using an insured, tracked postal service as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item and will not be able to process your refund without it.

You are responsible for paying the postage costs for returning your item. All shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund along with any payment processing fees incurred by Evizen Design e.g. credit card or PayPal fees.

Once your return has been received and inspected we will notify you via email. we will also notify you once we have processed your refund via your original payment method.

As we are a small business we are not able to offer exchanges however you are welcome to return your yarn, in line with the conditions above, and purchase something else from the shop.

If you feel your yarn is defective or below the quality you would expect please contact us by emailing hello@evizendesign.co.uk to discuss your concerns, providing pictures, so we can rectify the issue as soon as possible.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s IP address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

CONSENT
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

CONSENT WITHDRAWAL
If, after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at hello@evizendesign.co.uk

DISCLOSURE
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

ONE.COM
Our store is hosted by One.com using WordPress and WooCommerce which allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through One.com’s data storage, databases and the general One.com application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

PAYMENT
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then our third-party payment gateway might use your credit card info for that purpose. See 3.8.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located. Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

SECURITY
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.
